The Adsense Advantage – free ebook from Matt Callen

When I receive an email from Matt Callen offering me a free information product that he’s put together, I know it’s going to be good.

Unlike other experts who churn out recycled information or blatant promotions of their new products, Matt can be relied upon to put together a  well-written article that’s interesting, informative and easy to read.

His latest offering, the Adsense Advantage, is no exception and is 47 pages of reading about one guy and how he made over $9000 in one month from Adsense.

It really does offer a step by step approach that any internet newbie can follow to make money with Adsense.

The guy in question is Abhishek Agarwal who’s a big powerseller in India, but wanted something that would offer him a way of earning money with less effort on a daily basis. 

This ebook has proof of earnings and shows the very low income that Abhishek was earning in October and November 2006, prior to trying out Matt’s HyperVRE system of creating Adsense websites. 

Whilst the HyperVRE system is available as a free download for anybody to try, Abhishek purchased the Gold version which has a number of bells and whistles that help the search engines to see fresh content each time they visit.

If you haven’t considered this method, it might be worth checking out the report.  Combine it with reading Michael Campbell’s IMS ” 200 Page Website Challenge ” and you could be on to a winner – using HyperVRE to create pages and Michaels advice to create fresh and interesting pages of content.

It’s so easy to get distracted isn’t it?!

We have the best of intentions, but then something comes along and we find we’ve gone half way down that track without even intending to.

Over the past year I’ve read literally dozens of ebooks and reports written by the internet marketing experts. 

The one overwhelming piece of information that they all say is how easy it can be to waste time and not stay focused on the important things.

Let’s have a look at the past 24 hours:-

Emails in about Day Job Killer – a system of making money with PPC advertising (although some think it’s rather unorthodox in it’s approach).  Read reviews from well-known marketers – not all positive and reminded myself that this was NOT related to my main business, so was not relevant.

Email from Matt Callen about Adsense Advantage – offering a free report on how one guy using his HyperVRE system had made over $9000 in just one month.  Well worth a read – although I’d have liked more information – like how much money this guy spent on PPC advertising to get that kind of an income.  You can download Matt’s free report here.

Email from Michael Campbell – general internet marketing info, but suggesting that I subscribe to the Adsense Blogspot update list to get the latest information on making money with Adsense.  I did – am fed up with hearing about it first from Joel Comm!

Dozens of other emails offering new ways to make money – info products, PLR, affiliate, you name it, there’ve been emails about it.

Since I realised just how much time I was wasting just reading through these and chasing off after the latest ” fad” – I’ve been far more strict with myself.

I know what my goal is  – to build my Adsense income by creating quality, informative sites – and if something will help me do that, then I’ll go with it.  Otherwise it needs to be ignored or shelved (if it looks interesting for the future, I’ll print a page out and file it for reference).

This is a key way to build your business – that’s what I’m doing today – adding information and content to my existing sites and the related blogs, posting new articles and building my Adsense income further.

Don’t get distracted – whatever your business, whatever you’re good at – focus on doing more of the same and doing it better!

New Software for Building Your Websites

The search continues to find good software to build websites with.  Although I’ve been using Yahoo Sitebuilder

for over a year now and am very pleased with it – I felt that I needed something more to start building my latest websites.

Hence I’ve been looking around to see what the experts are using and recommending.  One piece of software that I’m sorely tempted to try is X Site Pro – built for individuals who are really looking to build profitable online businesses.  It automatically integrates Adsense into your sites, allows instant template changes, creates a Google Sitemap in xml for you, two clicks to create a privacy page (essential these days for Google to see you as a “serious” site), built in pop-in and pop-up creator, customised & easy to follow seo optimisation tips for each page, remembers details of your affiliate links – what am I waiting for?  

Did I mention that it also has a 300 page user manual – I’ve tried other softwares but have always been let down by the lack of an adequate and detailed manual to really understand the full functionality. 

The only other tool which I have looked at is the Wordpress blog created by semiologic, but I have to confess that I am put off by the fact that you do need some technical knowledge to get it going – although it seems to be all bells and whistles once it’s up and running.  Jonathan Leger uses it for his blog at http://www.jonathanleger.com/ – although I don’t love the font he uses, you can see what a clean and easy to follow site it is.

Anyhow, I’m now going to sit down and plan out my next website, which I am pretty certain I’ll be building with XSitePro.

Article Submission – top results for this method of site promotion & traffic creation

Yep, I’m reviewing several of the initiatives that I started back in early summer.  You may remember that I bought the Instant Article Submitter software in order to get wider circulation of my articles and to create additional traffic for my site. 

Did it work?

Very impressive!  I guess that this reflects the many people creating their own article sites in the hope of earning Adsense revenue – but this creates many useful links back to my site.  Has this been reflected in traffic to the site? 

As I decided to use Article submission as my main source of promotion – I’ve done very little other work on this site since submitting the Articles.  Hence, the increase in traffic by around 400% is probably mostly due to traffic received from these Article submission sites. 

Adsense revenue from the site has been good and continues to increase – and should buy me more than a cup of coffee!

Review of David Watson’s Website Article Wizard

A few months ago I mentioned that I had bought and used David’s latest software, Website Article Wizard.

I set up some channels on Adsense to monitor the traffic to these new Articles. 

I reckon I’m not the only one to be disappointed with the outcome of all that hard work – although it’s still only a few months and time will tell.  To use one of Dr Andy’s quotes, “the Adsense income wouldn’t even buy me a cup of coffee” – that kind of gives it away without going into any detail.

Sean Wu reckons these kind of Article sites are already “dead” as so many people are using the same content.  However, he does believe that there’s a future in “Authority Sites” and I’ve been enjoying reading “The Authoritiative Guide to Creating Profitable Authority Sites” that he’s recommended.  It’s a free download and just 20 pages – but worth taking the time to download and read.
